HEALTHY EATING HABITS WHEN SICK
Its a common feeling when someone is ill and probably under medication that one does not have appetite. It even goes to an extent that just a sight of a dish of food gets him or her nauseated or after taking a few spoonfuls the person regurgitates. If the patient does not have someone to attend them whether at at hospital or home, they can go even for days without proper meal. As their body feels weak and therefore they are not motivated to do any kind of household chores which will tire them.
But as a matter of fact, that person is beckoning for worse conditions over whichever they are undergoing as a result of the illness. Still it's hazardous to take medication while one is not well fed. Pharmacists always insists on having meals on the time they recommends and regularly while giving medicinal prescriptions.
Though there some foods which should be avoided during medication, there's plenty of others which should be taken on a daily basis; especially fruits, vegetables and fluids bountifully. The most important derivatives of those fruits, veggies and fluids are covered below.
Fruits - citrus fruits, oranges, grape fruits, lemons, limes and red watermelons.
Veggies - broccoli, kales, cabbages and spinach.
Hot fluids - ginger tea, lemon tea, green tea, chicken soup, veggies broth, beef bouillon and milk.
Other fluids include yoghurt,  honey and pure drinking water.
Other recommended easily digestible foods includes eggs, fish, soy milk and cereals and potatoes.
The most important thing is to make sure that the body is well rehydrated and at least not on an empty belly. Its fascinating that there is quite a big number of people who gets sickly when hungry and the person gets well immediately after feeding. Therefore its advisable to eat as much as you can while under doctor's prescription. Because if you don't take food a your medicine, you will end up taking medicine as your food!
